Short Discription

The chicken is usually cooked in a tandoor (traditional clay oven), but may be grilled, roasted, or pan-fried. It is served in a mild curry sauce that includes butter. The sauce is a tomato- and onion-based sauce that is simmered until smooth and much of the water has evaporated.

 

Ingredients of Dish

1 : chicken / 500g , 2 : tomatoes / 2x large , 3 : onion / 1x large , 4 : butter / 100g , 5 : red chili powder / 1tsp , 6 : fresh garlic / 1tsp , 7 : tomato paste / 2tbs , 8 : salt / 1tsp , 9 : cumin powder / 1tsp , 10 : coriander powder / 1tsp , 11 : full cream / 100ml , 12 : yogurt / 100g ,

 

Method of Dish

1: take a large bowl and putt chicken into the bowl then salt, red chili powder, and yogurt mix well and leave for at least 30min.
Preparation

1: take a pan on medium heat and add 50g butter make it hot and then add chopped onion fry the onion till light brown and then chopped tomatoes and fry more 5 min on medium heat then add rest of all spices and fresh garlic as well cook for 5 min and then add 1cup of water and let it cook for 10 min on medium-high heat.
2: fine blend this gravy and make sure it is smooth.
3: put a pan on medium heat and add 50g butter into the pan and make it hot then add marinated chicken and cook for 10-15min on medium-high heat.
4: now add blended gravy into the pan cook for 5 min and then add full cream and cook more 5 min in high flame . in the end add fenugreek ( methi ) and cook more 3-5min. done.
